About Rachel Gold
Hello, I’m Rachel Gold — a qualified life coach and mindfulness practitioner, with a 35-year career as a fashion and celebrity stylist.
I have spent much of my life in an industry built around image and presence. Over time, I came to understand something important: the way we feel inside and the way we present are deeply connected.
I work with clients to bridge the gap between their inner and outer worlds, supporting them to better understand who they are, what matters to them and how they want to show up.
Because when the inside and outside are aligned, we naturally feel clearer, more grounded and confident in ourselves. And we are able to build a life that feels true to who we are.
My Story
I have spent decades in the entertainment industry — first as a performer, and then as a fashion and celebrity stylist.
My work took me all over the world: styling entertainers for red carpets, commercials, tours and television. From the outside, it looked glamorous, high-flying and exciting. In many ways, it was.
However, the reality was it was demanding, high-pressure and at times, completely exhausting. Filled with pretension, fraught with expectation, back-biting and gaslighting.
I saw first-hand how easy it is to spend years presenting a certain version of yourself, whilst living a life not aligned with your core values. I was doing something I loved and was good at, yet I was not living my truth.
One day on set, I looked in the mirror as I overheard a very unpleasant conversation about someone I knew and liked. Something snapped, and I said to myself:
“I have to find my purpose and start living in my truth”
Throughout my career, I have practised mindfulness and meditation as a way to remain grounded. Self-development has always been one of my passions.
In 2019, I decided to take that passion to the next level — putting all that I had studied into practice and deepening my commitment by becoming a qualified life coach and mindfulness meditation practitioner.
The experience of dealing with so many different types of clients under high pressure, struggling internally whilst holding it all together externally, has been an invaluable lesson.
This is one of the roots of many people’s struggles. I understand my clients issues intimately - as I have lived them.
When you are living on the edge
When there is a disconnect between your inner world and how you show up on the outside, it affects every area of your life.
You start to feel as if you are wearing a mask.
You might feel a lack of confidence or uncomfortable in your own skin. Your mind may feel constantly distracted and busy. Small things can become overwhelming and you may find yourself struggling to decide what you really want in your life or holding back from your ambitions.
Over time, self-trust diminishes and you start to believe that this is your lot.
This is no surprise — it is also not your fault.
Much of what holds us back comes from early conditioning and unhelpful familiar patterns.
How I work
I guide people by bridging the gap between who they really are and the version of themselves they are presenting, peeling back layers of harsh self-judgement and others’ expectations.
My approach combines a blend of coaching and mindfulness practices with insight to personal style presence and non-verbal communication.
Together, we explore who you are beneath the facade, what matters to you and how you want to present to the world authentically.
Who I work with
I work with people who may appear successful and well put together on the outside, but are struggling and feeling off kilter inside.
People who feel stuck, disconnected or unsure of their next step.
People who know they want to do things differently, but do not know how.
Those who feel their lives are out of control, chaotic and need a greater sense of calm, focus and balance in their lives.
The outcome
People who work with me begin to face what once held them back.
Their stress and anxiety levels go down and their confidence and trust in themselves go up.
They stop hiding from their own potential and start living their lives in the present.
Piece by piece, they build a life that reflects their core values instead of worrying about their fears and predicting the future.
An invitation
This is not about changing your entire personality or becoming someone else.
It is about reconnecting with who you are — reclaiming your sense of self and direction.
You will step into your own authority and power.
If this resonates, I would love to hear from you.
